Spelling is important in the modern world. Sometimes you have to spell your name when the other person doesn’t know how to write your German name like in hotels, hospitals and so on. That’s why spelling is taught at school.

For this reason (and just for fun) a spelling contest took place at the Realschule im Rupertiwinkel at the 7/19/2016. The attendees were pupils of all three 6th classes. Their classmates cheered at them and were terribly excited, who would be the winner in the end. Finally Markus Mittermaier (6c), Andreas Wolfgruber (6b) and Johannes Sturmrauch (6a) won the Spelling Bee. Congratulations!
